Qatar 2022 was the most controversial World Cup,
and one topic dominated the conversation: LGBTQ+ rights.
While the local authorities wanted to appear open-minded,
Qatar didn't want to be associated with homosexuality at all.
To support the local Qatari community and make them visible,
we created the first official national team supporters’ club
where everyone was LGBTQ+.
